Sitting in my balcony enjoying the beautiful sunset while sipping the tea. Evenings are pleasant here after scorching hot afternoons. The temperature touches 36 degrees C when it feels unbearable. The light breeze blowing across gives pleasant relaxation.
Traffic on the road has been reduced considerably due to increasing covid cases here although life is as usual and does not exactly reflect the intensity of pandemic. As it is, the pandemic is more severe in big metros like Mumbai, Delhi.
How is the weather and pandemic situation in your place?

Pandemic has worsened everywhere. Our apartment is a micro containment zone with 50 cases including the two of us. Our building is sealed. We have 9 flats out of 12 with at least one covid patient.
It's raining here every evening since last three days.

Nice to be interacting with you again after a long gap. Sorry to hear about your contracting the virus but felt better that it is not that severe. We are making daily highs here also although we don't see much of it around us here. Hope you and your daughter are feeling much better now. Take care.

@marlina Thanks for your concern and comforting words. We are recovering well so far in home isolation.

Just responded to a fellow mylotter from your country about her bout with CoViD-19. Glad to know that you are not affected by the surge that is taking your nation's health condition in a most tumultuous way.
Keep disseminating the remedies in fighting the disease. One is to sip hot tea as much.
My country is also in a dire situation but the tally of cases has not increased, unlike the scare that was the previous week.
Do stay safe.

@msdivkar Aye Aye! I stay in the home all the time. My daughter does the grocery as quickly and I wait in the car. We cannot let our guard down. The mutant variants are lethal.
Yes, "we are all vulnerable." The tragic thing is, so many has taken the virus for granted.

@eileenleyva That is the right thing you are doing. The virus in any form is lethal and can not be taken for granted. I do come to the store sometimes but most of the times it is my daughter and nephew who take care of the store.

The weather has been much cooler than average, but we are now on a warming trend. The pandemic in this particular state is basically under control. Still some new cases, but no panic mentality now. I think bars are resuming their normal hourse, and restaurants are allowed to use them, whereas in many places they weren't open before.

The situation is not at all good in Delhi. Hospitals are full and lots of people are getting affected and not getting a place there. But the truth is people like me have to go to work even when it's a lockdown. Also to mention here lockdown this time is not stricter than it was last year. It looks the pandemic will take lots of lives this time and government doesn't seem to serious this time.
