Loving Spring

This week, my yard has been blessed with some beautiful flowers again. These are on one of my three apple trees. Now, I feel as though spring has finally arrived. This year seems so off in terms of what we have grown to expect weather wise here in Oregon. I understand that the midwestern US has even seen a snowstorm this week. Oh, and today marks freedom day for me and my wife. 14 days after our second Covid vaccine, and I am happy to report neither of us has grown any extra appendages or fallen down in fits from getting the vaccine. In fact, for me, they caused fewer side effects than the Shingles Vaccine. Hope everyone having a wonderful weekend.

It must be nice to see Spring finally... We got 4 inches of snow on the 21st. *sigh* The trees are budding and they look nice. My oxalis was just pushing above ground when the snow came. The oxalis got nipped off. i hope it sprouts back up again.

I had the same issue with potatoes. They have been frozen back at least three times this spring. I finally started covering them at night. They did keep coming back thank goodness.

Glad to know vaccine had no side-effect on you and wife.it's really good.I read a few negative reports about vaccine. but i think the possibility of side-effect is very small.side-effect appeared at a very low ratio among people.

For my wife and me getting the vaccine was never in question. Much better to take a bit of a risk on a new vaccine than risk the disease when I have several underlying medical conditions that elevated my risk to very high.

@cperry2 ,completely understand your condition,accepting vaccine is extremely correct.I forgot to say thie bloom is very beautiful.obviously spring was there already.

That is what I miss from my garden in Latvia how it looked in the springtime with all the blooming apple trees, Glad you have no side effects. I hope you both have a great weekend,

I love having a garden again. For a very long time we lived in an RV and traveled around every month or two. Now, I feel very happy to have my hands in the dirt again.
