An Indonesian submarine sank.
The ASEAN nations has convened to resolve the unrest in Myanmar.
The aftermath of the George Floyd justice story brought more police overkill of
black people.
My daughter warned me about depression caused by watching tragic news.
So I resorted to watching some old movies: Flipped, Transporter 1& 2, Die Hard, Karate Kid 2, and a few more which I discontinued watching due to the slow pace but otherwise likable. Almost hated Keanu and Winona for essaying pathetic roles in Destination Wedding. Lauded Chris Pine and Keira Knightly for a spy story Jack Ryan.
The Oscars, I hear, is a drab. For reasons like the nominees for Best Picture are depressing. Sigh!
But there's the Trial of the Chicago 7 on the list. I remember the netflix version did catch my attention.
Movies are supposed to entertain, the educational side a bonus.
Hoping I'd get to see a title that could entertain me tonight. Otherwise, I'd slip to slumber.
Good night.

Yup, the news is always upsetting, especially the senseless killing by cops who should serve and protect. It's our world today and it's egregious.
Am not one for Korean soap. Heard it's addicting.

@eileenleyva Yes, it’s upsetting.
Yes, it is addictive if you can’t control yourself.

Of course. Who wouldn't love Keanu Reeves? Not just as an actor but more of the man being a human person. He's everybody's guy. Plus, he loves dogs.
Chain Reaction is not on my netflix. As many good movies are. Netflix is pulling our leg, we pay and we don't get what we want to watch.

@eileenleyva Keanu Reeves' life was more tragic than most people know. He is a wonderful man.
I do not have Netflix, but I bought the DVD years ago, so I can watch when I like.

Old movies have good story and a learning point in it. In our state Malayalam old movies are like that and in 2015 to 20 there where very boring subjects and all. Now again there is good change

A good movie must always have a strong plot and a theme. Good cinematic effects and direction make the movie entertaining.

Yes, maybe it's better to sleep who knows a dream that is more exciting than a movie

Got what I wished but one or two scenes in my dream state were more like nightmares.
Exciting enough but I wished next not to include egregious dreams.

You live somewhere the proximity of Bali? Am so sorry. That is really a tragic story made poignant even more when the sailors left behind a good-bye song,
