@porwest I think it is childish for someone to block you simply because that person disagrees with you on a political issue.

@vandana7 Slower pace. People used to seem to latch onto a new post much more quickly. It is also funny to me that more people have blocked me than ever before...mostly due to differences in politics, and I am making more money than I have ever made on here and much more easily. It is perplexing. But ALMOST makes me want to get more people to block me.

@TheHorse No..just a borderline headache..I could not classify it as such too. So it was kinda..well, and yet unwell. I slept for a long time though. Now I am feeling good.

Have you had any reaction to the shot(s)? I don't think I did (I was actually a bit giddy after the second shot), but my supervisor at Guitar Center has been under the weather for two days after her second shot.

We are in hot weather. Just been a tad busy with aunt leaving for states, and second shot of covid.

@FourWalls Yeah...hope she is not too cold for 87 years old. She called me and said something that is eating me now. Kinda..thanked me for looking after her. Usually, when such words are uttered I end up crying and my nose leaks almost as much as my eyes. I was near tears at the airport. It felt as if she was saying I am not returning. This is goodbye. I wish covid was not there, and I wish I could have given her a hug.

@Shiva49 Horse has the ability to bring some casualness and fun here. And when Vanny jumps in (You would have probably figured out who) then it can become a kind of party. Plus a few more guys. With these folks, I have had some discussions which became so long that it soon became unclear as to who was responding to what but it was fun!

@vandana7 Does that qualifies for a word named "Obfuscation". We have a similar name for a Programming code that we use in Oracle Database for certain functions- in a way to "hide" the exact thing.

I always enjoy checking in regardless of what else is going on.

I'm baking a cake for a customer this morning too. Except it's actually a pair of large speakers that should be ready to go home with their owner next week.

I guess most people are battling after effects of those vaccinations. Do you think god can come up with a virus that can infect human being across Internet? It may be challenging but god might just want to give it a try.

What is Open Houses?

I had fun yesterday, but wasn't really in a "selling myself" mood. I had a delighful 7-year-old boy "on the line" but didn't bother to reel him in. Daddy was hesitant to let the kids touch the guitars, but I told him it was fine, and wound up giving the little boy and his 4-year-old sister "free lessons." I just didn't do my "sales" thing of showing them the teaching rooms and taking them to my Supervisor to tell them about our "special rates if you sign up today." Maybe I should read "Trump's" The Art f the Deal and work on my sales skills. Except I think I sold two guitars and a ukulele yesterday. Sigh. The Horse learns to go Corporate.

@TheHorse You're really doing well on the selling side, aren't you? You'll be on a commission next and working 9 to 5. Better take care.

@xander6464 Are you sure those aren't actually Hot Asian brides dressing up and trying to separate you from your wallet? I heard from Alex Jones that Democrats have hired Jigglypuff to put people to sleep so Liberal-supported Asian Brides can steal their money and open up Pizza Parlors.

@TheHorse Sometimes, I need to peek out and see what the world is doing. People have been cooped up with the virus lockdowns and the crazy weather. Time to see the sun and sky. I'm glad you agree.

@DeborahDiane I enjoyed the relatively isolated beach that surrounded the UCSB campus. When I wanted to "girl watch," I went to Goleta Beach.

@TheHorse - I agree. Laguna Beach looks like there was never a pandemic. Restaurants, bars, shops, hotels, etc. are packed. By July, the beach will be packed, too. I try to enjoy it in the very early morning.

We'll see what happens today. I have plans for the afternoon, but I have a couple of hours to "play" this morning.

Goal? Who would be silly enough to set a goal here?
