Saturday Afternoon Treat

My neighbor called and asked if we were going to an outdoor event at the local state park. I had forgotten about it as I thought it was canceled due to the rain. Took a ride over and the rain turned into thunderstorms. Everything was cancelled. Not sure what all was going on. They have several food trucks and special events. Cotton the owl was also suppose to be there. Talked to one of the rangers and he said they would try again tomorrow. So, we are back at home and I just made some M&M cookies. A few candies leftover, and since they cannot go to waste, I treated myself to a few.

The cookies will be done soon. Good evening to everyone.

We had rain (not thunderstorms) yesterday, too. I noticed some tornado warnings around McMinnville, TN, so it was definitely more active in your neck of the woods. The balloon race, which is part of the Kentucky Derby Festival, was rescheduled for today. Hope it clears out for it!
