Like what Chef Ramsay said in one of the episodes of his show named Kitchen Nightmares" having no standards means no consistency" which is very true not only in the food industry but also in life.
Having no standards means that you can't exactly bring out the best of yourself and your work because you have no consistency. How? I'm happy that you asked (well technically I did ask but please roll with it), standards for me are more of a guide, and having these means that you can throw out those that do not meet said standards, therefore, forcing you to remake it to the best that you can. Ending up in something extraordinary because you followed said standards.
For me standards are not categorized as low or high, one's standards are supposed to be different from the other person's because your standards are tailored to your ability and personality. Although, pretty sure we all got something in common. What's your take on the said topic?

I agree 100% as long as you set your own standards and not anyones. Thank you for commenting,

Yes. You have a point there. All we have to do is to know what standards we need to reach whatever we want
