Happy to See Neighbor's New Fence

A few days ago, I noticed the neighbors behind us were digging fence posts holes. And now their new fence is halfway done. Yes, that is a good thing.
They just got a puppy for their toddler. This will be good for all of us. More privacy for us, and for them as well.
This is not their fence, borrowed the photo.
More of those little things that make me happy in life.
Good evening to everyone.

Lots of buzz going around your neighborhood lately.
Here too. Lots of tree work, yard work and re-paving driveways.

@CarolDM More privacy and maybe even a bit of sound protection too. Glad to know you're happy with it.

Guess it's a good thing that they have the fence then.

we had no fence between our backyard neighbors years ago after Sandy. The storm destroyed it. They thought that we were never going to replace it but the boys were just waiting for warmer weather. We didn't have dogs and our yard was well taken care of but everyone likes their privacy.

I've thought about a fence between us and our one neighbor.

I would like to get a fence but I live on a hill. My neighbors are higher than I am on the hill so it seems pointles. I am thinking of privacy shrubs instead.

@CarolDM She lives right next door and when we are out on the deck we feel like she is watching us lol but if we get a fence it would have to be a very high fence so we are thinking shrubs that will eventually grow high is a better idea. We just got the house 2 months ago.

@zukichucha Evergreen shrubs are always a nice touch. You will have greenery year round for a nice yard and privacy.

Good evening.
So what does their fence look like?
Just curious
and also it's a good thing for everyone's privacy but what about interaction over the fence?
