Staggering morbidity and mortality numbers and highly distressing drone scenarios of makeshift crematoriums filling international frontpages about India's current state of health crisis due to CoViD-19.
The United States buckled up offering supplies for vaccine production,
The United Kingdom sped into action packing ventilators and oxygen tanks for transport half-way across the globe.
Likewise for Germany and France and Singapore who said medical help is on the way.
Hang in there, India. We love you.
UK has sent life-saving medical equipment to India including ventilators and oxygen concentrators as the country reels from record numbers of daily COVID-19 ...

@12345Lot For a lot of people, it's rather late. But yes, it's a good gesture of man helping a fellow man.

That is correct. The world knows that this pandemic will not end if one country suffers. That is why everyone must help India. Besides, India was helpful to other countries last year. About time the world recognizes that kindness and help India now.

The news updates are difficult to watch. Several times, I had to pause because I had to cry. Your people verbalized their agony so intensely that my heart broke.
Still watching the news and praying the oxygen reaches those who need it.
We are praying for India.

@arunima25 That will come in time. The world was just learning about India's plight and visuals were limited to the pyres burning, long queues of cars with oxygen tanks scarce and pricey, hospital staff overwhelmed.
Yes, refrain from watching the news just yet, till the people get their bearing again. It is important to stay calm and stay positive.
For sure many are helping. It is in your culture to help another at the direst of situations.

@eileenleyva There are many positive news. Rate of recovery is also good. But media just shows negative side and disturbing visuals. I am staying away from news, sending healing vibes and prayers for all and trying to help people around me in all possible ways that I can. So many common people have come out as real warriors and heroes. I wish media shares news to spread positivity.

@Starkinds Oh no! Don't! You gotta collect your bearing. Remember the nature of the virus is to attack you on your weakest moment. That means you have to fight physically and mentally. It will take the whole lot of your being but a strong spirit is what is needed now. Gather the courage and fight.
We will do the crying and the praying. Care for your self and others. It's a must.

That is true. Just when everyone thought India was able to sway through the first year of the pandemic, the citizenry dropped its guard and held festival celebrations. Now this gravely ill situation.

Boris Johnson was scheduled to visit India for a geo-political meet. India must get the CoViD-19 controlled. Repercussion dangerous. China gaining grounds.

@eileenleyva if you think about it, China would be the ideal country to give aid considering they share a border. Of course, both are having disputes and we all know China is the country behind all this mess.

My facebook timeline is filled with posts asking prayers for India. Daily Masses are also offered for the nation bereaved with pain. India is a beautiful country. I like the people very much because of their depth and their culture.

@JudyEv Same here. Though the ones in motorbikes are the wily ones who lend capitals for small businesses and charges high interest. It's called 5-6. For every five thousand pesos that a Bombay (that's how they are called here) charges, one has to pay back six thousand pesos.
But I do find the Indians very deep.

India is a very populous country. Albeit I like the people because of their simplicity, depth, religiosity and passionate love of culture.
Geo-politically, India is a powerhouse in Asia, the only one that can stand against aggressive China. But the current pandemia has crippled the nation. It is heartbreaking.
Glad many countries extended the help India needed to combat the virus. India, I know, will rise again.

We've been praying. Trying to get hold of your self and stay calm. The important thing is to prevent more infections. Do the necessary protocol still. Boost your immune system with necessary vitamins.
