You will notice a significant change to the myLot earnings algorithm beginning with today’s update for yesterday’s earnings. Most users will see an increase in the amount earned vs. the old algorithm. However, some users with lower-quality contributions will see a decrease. We encourage everyone to revisit the myLot Discussion Guidelines to gain a full understanding of what our community expects. And don’t forget to fill out your Interests and start discussions related to those Interests. We’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating since myLot is expanding at a rapid rate, and many users may not have heard. Our goal is to reward quality contributions to the myLot community. We’re not here to reward low-quality contributions, or even worse, attempts to game the earnings algorithm. We feel that making changes like these will contribute to a better user experience for everyone at myLot. Thanks to everyone for continuing to make myLot a HUGE success.

Wow, they've already gotten started too! I'm seeing so few meaningless discussions now! Everything seems to be asking opinions and things with real substance!
I think this is great. Without all the stupid "gimme money" discussions, they meaningful ones won't be buried with no responses. Keep it up MyLot!

Ok, that's odd...I didn't post that picture here, I wonder why it came up here? I posted it a few minutes ago in the photography list, I don't see how it could have gotten here!

This aler should make mylot a much better place to respond to. Personally I am tired of the yes and no answers Iget on my discussions. You will earn much more if you respond with quality responses.

I'm hoping that this will encourage more people to spend time responding more often with something that will encourage the discussions to grow rather than end with quick answers

Well man dont worry this is because lot of people are here to earn money but lot many people are sending small comments and these comments are just for making money and nothing ... they are not describing any topic but just replying NO or YES so just dont worry it is for everyone and not just for you buddy

i love this new rule, finally some justice!!!, there are many users who just respons wid a "yes" or "no", and sometimes their responses are totally in adverse to the discussion which i think is whack, all those users care about is the ratings, well now they can get get their ratings, just not the money they used to get for such stupid responses, now there will be more quality discussions and not just about the color we like the most!!!
