Do you like carabeef?

My friend will deliver tomorrow carabeef, fresh from the slaughterhouse. Her brother is a butcher.
Carabeef is better than beef as it is naturally tasty and it has less cholesterol, fat and calories. The meat does not shrink too when you cook it, so many beef-based meat products use this instead of beef.
Carabeef is not commonly sold here but when someone does, I really buy some.
My husband does not like it but for sure he won't know it as beef and carabeef taste almost the same. I once fooled him of goat's meat as beef

@amazingrosette i don't like that either. Sweet and sour viands are not my favorites. But I know someone from Iligan whose viands are all sweet, taste like dessert.

I've never tried water buffalo meat. I would try it if it was sold in my area. (I usually do try any type of meat not normally sold in my area when I find it in the supermarket.)

@Janet357 Yes, it is. I've eaten buffalo meat, bear meat, moose meat, shark and alligator. I tried some emu once but found it too greasy for my liking.
That makes it sound like I go around chewing on all the wildlife in the US!

Carabeef is carabao? Does it take a long time to cook? Is it more expensive or cheaper?

@Janet357 Also similar to very tasty beef, and it is supposed to have the same benefits you mention. Bison farming was a 'thing' for a while here, but now it seems to have faded away again, I think due to a change in regulations around 'wild' animals. There are still some farms though, like this one:
