Reusing Plastic Bottle

This is my son's project, he makes an aquarium reusing plastic bottles. I have helped him follow the methods from YouTube. But water still leaked from between the connections I have tried patching it with dextone glue, but it still leaks a little. Any suggestions what can we use?

Make the connecting tube just one long piece and with an excess length of 1-1.5 inch in each bottle. Try that.

Have you tried using a sealant? It's very easy to use and very effective in fixing leaks.

I haven't tried it yet, I think the sealant is only for glass. Tomorrow I will buy it, thanks for the advice
