I received an instruction from our office that we are required to attend the virtual flag raising this morning. Google Meet link was sent to everyone and reminders were given from time to time. We have not been doing this since the pandemic and this is the first time that everyone was required to attend. This event was documented and a report is required to be submitted to the main office. Have you done this in your place? (picture from the internet)

A virtual flag raising ceremony is definitely something very new. Do you think this would become part of our new normal in schools or in government offices etc.?

@gamayngbaki Nothing beats the physical activity doing this but this is something beyond our control. At least we can still be patriotic at some little point.

@cherigucchi Virtual is okay as long as the feeling of nationalism and patriotism to our flag and to our country is ever present and overflowing.

We did it for our school in last academic year. Though it's nothing close to the real physical ceremony, I am afraid that this might be the new norm in this pandemic.

That's cool. When there was a festival or ceremony in my school, we did that too.
