We have ants problem this time at home. Their favorite place is somewhere in the kitchen walls and they are mix of small and big in which the bigger ants have wings and they usually show up at night in pretty good numbers. The winged ants love to gather and fly around the light bulb when it's turn on but later on they will scattered on the floor when their wings were detached. Looking after for the best solution as I want to get rid of these ants permanently.

In summers ants problem is there everywhere. We sprinkle some powder here for those ants and it's working. You take care

We spread black pepper powder with our previous problem but I think we need more of the powder if we will use it now. What powder did you use?

They will go away on their own ultimately. Basically what these are, are future queens and males. They mate and then die off, the females go and create nests of regular old ants. The winged ones aren't the problem. It's what comes after. lol

Thank you for the explanation. We got them rid a month ago but they come back (or maybe we never get rid them off) and just transfer new locations. Then, they're making home from fine sands outside the house near the entrance.

@ZedSmart Yeah, eventually you won't see winged ones anymore. Just ants.

They are annoying. How about insect killers? About the flying ones, we get rid of them by killing them.

The winged ants come inside when it's going to rain, we had some inside yesterday. I grabbed them and threw them outside.

@ZedSmart there were only two or three inside the house, not a big deal.

I wish they're just few and I'll do the same. They can be very annoying as we cannot just drive them away.

They can be disgusting. We get those flies in our gazebo lights after it rains. Thankfully it's outdoors but then we can't enjoy a lovely rainy evening outdoors in our gazebo because of them. And it's a lot of cleaning next morning as many die and fall on the terrace floor.

That's exactly our problem because you need to turn off the lights as they become a nuisance.

it's not an ant, but a termite. Be careful with termites, they eat wood

@porwest That's right and they're white. Our previous home were infested with termites good thing they're controlled and treated before they made huge damage to wooden beams.

Good that they're not present in your home nowadays.

Sprinkle a solution of shampoo and water from the source they are coming from. It helped me when our house wasn't renovated. At night time after you turn off the lights they will come over your bed every now and then and you will ruin your time in killing em.

Thank you. I'll try this if it works. We sprayed water with Chlorine but no effect. Yes, some were falling in my bed and it bites.
