Loving and Hating Writing

Ever since I know I am not born a writer and never will I become. Writing for me is an amazing and a mysterious phenomenon. One day I am on top of things, the next day I am down lost in confusion and uncertainty. One day I can write and it works then the next day I can write no more and it just does not work. Who knows how and why?
It is a creative process; it defies analysis and it is full of magic and wonder. I love writing and hate it at the same time.
Writing is a hard work which is tied up with dedication and passion, a day by day hobby that soon I time becomes a part of yourself that you can never live without day in, day out. You give it time because your day is incomplete without putting your ideas on a piece of paper and then afterwards you read that masterpiece and you marvel how you were able to come up with this. It’s a trophy, it’s an achievement and it is all yours for the credit.
Do you love writing?

One of the reasons why I love writing is the very fact that I can express what's on my mind without asking for an approval from anybody. I used to maintain a blog and if not because of my busy schedule, I should have been continuously blogging until now. I am still planning to start blogging again in the near future and hopefully, this plan materialize.

@cherigucchi Yes but I admire those writers who really can write long topics and can simply express clearly what they want to tell the reader

@m_audrey6788 That is also skill and talent. They must have honed this potential as well.

Some days I love writing and some days I hate it. If I'm doing it for fun, the words flow from my fingers like water from a faucet. When I'm editing someone's manuscript, I can't believe what I'm seeing. I can't believe they think someone else will pay for the garbage on the page.
By the time it is ready for the publisher, I believe more of the work in the finished book is mine and not theirs, even though they get the money for the book.

@cherigucchi I experienced it too but that time I didn't know how to overcome. So I never wrote for around two years

If its all about personal writing then there would be no problem but when it comes to formal or technical writing, it is another thing.

I do. Writing isn't an all the time thing. Sometimes you are full of ideas and sometime you are scrambling to get the creative juices going. Don't put pressure on yourself when you can't get the imagination going. I tend to jot down ideas and settings that I can look at when my head is empty. Good luck.

That is true. Not all the time you can just grab a pen or paper or pull your laptop on then ideas fall like rain.

Writing also requires a great skill especially when it is technical or formal writing.
