I am fine ... This very simple sentence might mean: That there are raging fires that words cannot translate ... Or perhaps pride will prevail and prevent the disclosure process.

Because sometimes we don't want to tell them what we really feel for various reason. 'I am fine', with flat tone is not fine at all.
