Gerald Philbrook who is four years of age was heartbroken that a crook had the nerve of stealing from his dad's truck a battery operated gator tractor about one month ago.
When Peter Philbrook who is the father of Gerald used the power of Facebook to report the theft of his son's favorite toy, the Tempe Police Department officers decided to look for the missing tractor without any success.
A group of the Tempe Police Department decided to purchase a replacement tractor for Gerald from a local Wal Mart store.
Gerald was a very happy child when a handful of police officers came to the home of the Philbrook home to give the child a brand new tractor toy to replace the toy that was stolen earlier.
The Philbrook family are very grateful that the Tempe police opened up their hearts and replaced a toy that meant a lot to Gerald.

I agree with you since police officers do not get the love from the media that they deserve.

At least what was stolen was something that could be easily replaced. Guess social media does have some value in it.

There is good and bad with social media since some sports stars on Twitter will thank me for paying them a compliment while some of them do not say anything at all.

I agree with you since some police officers are moms and dads too.

That is such a nice thing to do. People will steal from anyone. Glad they replaced it.
