She is Protecting the Blue Eggs

Went out to check on the beautiful blue robin eggs I talked about a few days ago. The nest is hidden in my holly bush.
The female robin always flies away when I get close. Today she stayed on the nest and stared me down.
I snapped one photo and left. This behavior usually means either the babies have hatched. Or they are about to hatch.
An exciting time. Glad to see the Momma is protecting the babies. See the white spots on her face? That tells you she is a female.

How cute this bird is!! And mother's protection (whether animal or human) is the Best in the world!! Hope babies will be fine!!
