8 hours

So I went to sleep at six last night, and amazingly got a full 8 hours of sleep. I will probably take a nap at some point today, so I can try to stay up till 9 tonight. Still trying to force myself into a 9 to 5 sleep schedule. I am also cutting down on the coffee. I've already cut down by half, but both my psychiatrist and my gp want me to cut most of it out. To like one cup of decaf a day. Not sure I want to go that far, I'd rather just completely stop. I still haven't had to take any ativan, and that's good. I'm glad I have it, but even gladder if I don't have to take it. The weird thing is that I have two refills, that never ever happens with benzos. Perhaps she made a mistake. Anyhow, I got so much done yesterday. 45 minutes in the yard, front and back, 35 minutes exersize, all household chores caught up. The sucky thing about getting up at two though is that I am limited in what I can do (I don't want to be noisy and wake people up). I also stuck to my diet yesterday, so I'm super happy about that as well. I will have part of a muffin and some milk for breakfast. Then half an orange and a nutrigrain bar for lunch. And for dinner I am having nachos (home made). Not really all diet foods, but I am eating smaller portions, and no extra snacks. And lots of water. I got out my favorite pink water bottle, and will just keep that filled. I thought I had lost more weight recently, as my clothes are looser, but I only lost two pounds. I need to purchase some batteries for my scale, so I can weigh myself every week. At my doctor's visit on Friday, I was 186 pounds. Pretty heavy.

I wish you get 8 hours of sleep everyday. This is also my problem. I have again trouble sleeping at night.

Sounds like a good start.Stick to your resolution with all will power and soon you will be there at your goal I am happy to have my sleep wake rhythm back. It was all disturbed as I was recovering from the virus. I was napping most of the day and night. Soon it should be back to 10-5 in the night and my power nap of an hour in afternoon.

I also have a hard time to have 8hrs of sleep a day. When I wake up early in the morning I can`t go back to sleep anymore. So I just do many things at home to be busy and have my morning dancing exercise Glad that you loose 2pounds it is a good one. I think whatever you`re doing is going well for you.

Having enough time of sleeping can boost our mood up.
