Bakwan or gorengan

Bakwan is a vegetable fritter or gorengan from Indonesian cuisine. Bakwan are usually sold by traveling street vendors. The ingredients are vegetables; usually beansprouts, shredded cabbages and carrots, battered and deep fried in cooking oil. Since the pandemic I haven't bought it again on the street vendor. Today I tried to make it myself, for snack. Is there a snack like this in your country? Picture from google

Yes. It's called pakora. one of the tasty cuisines we Indians make during the rainy season. A bowl is full of those and hot tea.

@slianty Yeah exactly. and we make pakoras with generally everything with the same process. Potato Onion Brocolli etc.

Is it because it's fried? Fried food is actually not healthy, but it's delicious.
