What was your experience after you took a jab of the vaccine? Are smoking and drinking prohibited after it for some duration?

You can smoke and drink and eat entirely as normal. I had no reaction whatsoever but several people I know have felt tired or slightly feverish. The after effects only last two or three days and are no worse than having the flu mildly.

@myklj999 many people above 45 whom I know felt sick and sluggish for 2- 7 days. After that period they were fine.

I just had a pain in my hand where the jab was administered on second day. Nothing else. Nurse who administered the jab advised me not to have a drink for few days if I am used to it. I did not had any so no experience of its reaction.

Welcome to myLot! I don't think that smoking does anyone any good at any time and so I would avoid it entirely. Drinking in moderation should not be a problem as far as the vaccine is concerned. I don't smoke and only drink on occasion. The healthier we are the better we cope.

I haven't been vaccinated yet, but it would be good for at least a month to prevent anything from going wrong
