It's Thursday which means it's another pay day. Another day that I can just wave his check goodbye. It sucks adulting sometimes. I didn't work yesterday because we went to a funeral. We didn't know the man but because he was a member of my husband's station before he retired, he went. He ended up being a honorary pall bearer and I was wondering the whole time why I was there. It didn't end up being a good day, really. So now that he back at work this morning I have a lot to catch up on. A ton of emails and all the sites that I work need to be done. At some point I need to pay the bills. I hate that part. I'm also coloring a picture for a friend and I'm hoping to finish it before my husband goes to class tonight. I finished The Poet the other night and it was good. I think the reason I claimed I couldn't get into it was because I had no guesses who was committing the crimes. That makes a good novel but at the same time, I usually have a guess and this time I didn't. I started Tijan's new book The Insiders. It's her first book with St. Martin's Press and so far it's pretty good. I'm not that far into it but I love her books. There hasn't been a lot of writing lately and I need to fix that. I just always feel like I'm behind on something. We're still looking for a decent shed to use as my library. I have a decent down payment now and now all the prices went up. They say there is a lumber shortage and that's why all the prices went up. I guess I should get back to work before I run out of that precious time.
