Would You Like To Be The Mama Of 9 Babies?

I just came across this Big News:
A Malian woman has given birth by ceasarean today to 9 babies.
Hard to believe but it really happened.
5 girls and 4 boys: enough to make a team. They are called "nonuplets"
I certainly would not like to be in this lady's shoes right now, can you imagine
all the work that is involved in raising so many babies all of the same age?
I would think that the government will help them, I certainly hope so.
Doctors were surprised to find nine babies; scans had shown only seven. "The newborns (five girls and four boys) and the mother are all doing well," Mali's health minister says.

Having nine children to raise at the same time will be a huge challenge for the mom.

I wonder how she'll deal with feeding them. It will be exhausting, especially dealing with all the crying from the babies waiting to be fed.

Wow! That's really a good blessing. She's so blessed. I hope she gets all the support and help she needs. And I pray all the 9 babies grow up healthy

The babies must have been so tiny. I would not like to have 9 babies, especially all at once!

@marlina that is the worst - the twins would always wake each other up. The first six months (they were premature) we had to feed them every four hours. that first year was a blur!

My two were a handful when the were preschoolers together, I cannot imagine taking care of that many!

I am glad to see that the woman herself and the babies are doing well in incubators.
That would not be for me either.

If this is the same story I read, she thought she was having 7 babies as the scans only showed 7 but it turned out to be 9. I am terrified of ever having one kid. How someone can handle 9 and in one shot is beyond my understanding.
