2010 I finished primary school 2015 I finished high school. 2016 I did a year at University. 2017 I started the Bachelor of Health and Medical Science. I was told not to waste my time or money on university because I would never be able to pass any courses offered in University except maybe some "mumbo jumbo arts course"... I was told I should just settle for doing some "half baked" course at Tafe (something about labratory work). I understand why I was told this my grades in my final year of highschool were pretty abysmal. To be honest they were only that way because 99.99% of the time I wanted to die. Yet I still dreamt of one day telling the final chapter of people's lives. Today, on the 7th of May 2021, I graduated and recieved my testamur. You know what else it is though? It is 2 years almost to the day that my father walked out of the front door of our house and never came back. Despite my father walking out on us and plunging the household onto financial chaos I managed to finish my degree. Looking back him leaving was a good thing. A very good thing.
