When Vaccine Becomes a Vexing Vial!

I am looking forward to my second dose of corona vaccine - Covaxin . It should be anytime in 10 - 14 days. But a cloud of dust is making the air doubtful. There is a horrible haggling going on between the government and the producers. That is racking up such a dust cloud that I am not sure it would be as smooth as the first dose.
With the arrival of the Russian Sputnik three kinds of vaccines should be available . Covaxin and Covishield were administered in the first drive.
President Biden is willing to waive patent constraints to allow US to play a role in the fight against Covid. That is a welcome news. I believe if this deadly virus has to be vanquished it should be in India. Because of the huge population India is the most favorable place for the virus to hide and cause extensive damage to humanity!

This vaccine was made too quickly and future side effects are not yet know. I hear people will need to take it once a year every year

I think this dilemma or haggling of the pricing will be taken care of very soon and the people will be given the vaccine as per the vaccine! In fact delaying in the vaccine by two months is proving beneficial so the authorities are postponing the second dose by two weeks!

Do take one. Doctors are advising that we all should take a vaccine for protection against the virus.

as the population of India is more than 1/7th of the world, the productions has not nearly as much as the requirement, and people are also getting misguided to not take vaccination

You are right. And so, perhaps it should be advisable that all hurdles in the way of mass production of vaccines should be removed.
