What makes this a relevant discussion? Why is it important to know the color of someones hair? A discussion is something people talk about and voice there opnion about. Hair color is a fact not an opnion. Read mylot's guidelines again please if you havent already and you will learn whay is acceptable and what is not.

It depends on my mood for the month. I have black hair but I have put streaks in it to sometimes be purple and sometimes blue. When a person first hears about it, they do not quite get it. But when they meet me in person and talk to me, they realize that it really does fit my personality!:)

but i am thinking of adding a tinge of violet to it

Coooooooool. U r very lucky. I like black colour of hairs very much but alas! i do n't have black hairs. My hairs were golden in mine childhood but now, the colour of my hair is brown but this brown is found seldom in the nature. People like my hair colour but i do n't like it.
