What's for dinner today?

I broke down and had sushi for afternoon snack and dinner yesterday. It was good, as always. I'm not sure what I'm having today. I'm out of almost everything, so I think I'll hit Safeway in a few minutes, and then I'll hit the pool.
Kitty is sleeping at my feet, swishing her tail at me occasionally. I gave her some wet food when I got home from work. I tell her "I'll be back soon" when I'll be back soon. I think she understands.
How is your Monday going? I know it's early tomorrow in places like India. I think I'll take a book to the pool this afternoon and jump in when I'm bathed in sweat. It's about 88 F out.

Sounds like a nice way to spend the day. The only thing I miss about living in an apartment complex, is having access to a pool. With this Florida heat, that would be very welcome at times. I'm not sure what we'll be eating, yet. However, the way my husband was talking he wants me to make hamburger.

I had a pepperette, a salad, and a thick slice of toasted cranberry bread and hot tea for dessert. Then I had some chocolate.

@TheHorse To quote:
"A pepperette is a sausage-like food that is usually made from ground meat, with turkey, beef, and pork being the most common varieties. The meat is usually mixed with spices and comes ready to eat without any type of cooking or preparation. Pepperettes may or may not have to be refrigerated depending on the specific type and how it was made. en.wikipedia.org"
The one I had was made with pork and chicken.

We went out for dinner tonight(pick up)at the KFC Hall. I had a quarter pound burger with fries&cole slaw. Jay had ribs with au-gratin potatoes, corn on the cob, corn bread, and cole slaw. It was delicious! This included dessert(apple pie)which neither one of us ate.

Warm here at Oahu as well, 81° F. I had a big brunch if fried rice, all left overs of tofu, mandoo & cut fresh veggies like yellow & green bell peppers, round onion, tomatoes, frozen peas topped with green onions. Si, for dinner, fruit bowl I got at supermarket and yogurt. I've often seen these fruit bowls so I finally got one... they're great. Going to get more tomorrow, weather permitting.

It is already 8:25 PM on a Tuesday night here in Manila.
HAd some fish nuggets and rice for dinner. Not much. Just enough to not go hungry the rest of the night.

My Monday has been a rollercoaster. My husband has an eye infection and went back to eye doc, now waiting to get appt with his eye specialist. Our daughter was in the ER last night with her ongoing health probs, but a little better today. Crazy drivers that almost caused accidents on the way home this afternoon. I'll be glad tomorrow's not Monday.

88 is way too warm. It was in the 40s here yesterday. Feels like winter. I had lentil soup yesterday for dinner. Nothing else going on here. Have a good day.
