Sooo, my 19yr old niece and I just got home from the park. We were going to spend our usual time in one of the tennis courts, where she rollerskates and I walk for about a half-hour. Welp, all of the tennis courts were full, and she's not ready to practice on other surfaces yet, so we came home. It's a good thing the park is pretty close to home.
I timed it recently, and it takes about six minutes to walk to the tennis courts, so it's about another six minutes to walk back home. We took a small detour to another part of the park on the way home, so that probably bought my total time close to 15 minutes, as opposed to my hopeful 30 minutes. I should've bought a timer but oh well. I'm pretty sure it was close to 15 minutes, as I can see what time I took the writing order I did just before heading out the door.
You know what? 15 minutes is better than not getting in any walking at all. I still got out and moved around, and I still exercised. Plus, I can always walk around the block or inside the house for another 15 minutes later. I do feel bad that my niece couldn't rollerskate though. I told her we should try to go in the late morning or early afternoon while people are still at work and school. So here's to hoping we can do that tomorrow, and that it's a success.
I've been doing alright with my work so far, so I'm going to get back to work. Take care, everyone.

Agree with you, any physical activity, no matter how short is better than not having any physical activity at all.

Sure a change of time can make her find the perfect time when it is less parked and she can do her thing

To bad you weren't able to get your full 30 mins in, but half the time is better than none.
