More evidence that things are slowing down on MyLot.

I just checked Hot Discussions on MyLot. The "hottest" posts have something like 30 views, and many hot discussions have only 15 or so views.
I decided to use YouTube as a "control group" in my experiment. I checked one of my songs that usually gets a couple of hits a day, and another that usually gets about one hit a day. Over three days (the last time I checked), the two hit a day post had gotten zero hits, and the one hit a day had gotten one. My tentative conclusion is that internet use is slowing down overall as the weather improves in the Northern hemisphere.
Have you noticed the continued slowdown on MyLot? I'll attach one of my songs, just to see if I get a bonus hit or two. It's the one that usually gets a couple of hits a day. Most of my MyLot friends have heard this one. It's by John Prine, my folk music idol who died of Covid this past year.

Yes, but like you said it may be a seasonal thing. Alot of people have left mylot though too, or only come on the weekends it seems.

Yeah, even lockdown has reduced in many places, people are no longer spending all the time online

Which are the two songs that get two and one hit per day? As to myLot, I am a tad busy right now. Have been for almost a month and even more. Prior to that aunt was leaving for the US. And then I gave my househelp off till I call her to rejoin. So I am doing a lot of chores now. Getting tired. I am an old hag Pony!!! Glare.

Oh YES! I have noticed, less and less people are around and the few who are around often do not answer back when you comment, that it is a bit depressing considering that this is not a writing site, but a discussion site. What to say? May be people are busy outside.

Yep its definity less activity going on here. I used to hit like minimum 10 responds on my posts before, but when it started slowing down I though would take a break , and the past few months I really wasn't active here. But I finally decided to come back here again

I was inactive here due to one reason or the other. I do not know the reasons but I find that there is a dearth of good discussions here and one needs to dig out the discussions to respond.
As regards your song, I heard it. I found it pretty good. 
Your apprehension that you are not getting enough likes/views on your song(s) may due to various reasons. Due to pandemic there are many new users who keep uploading their video on you tube or other such sites and everyone cannot get multiple views/likes.

Agree with you that myLot activity has slowed down the past month or two but it will pick up soon enough. I'm surprised that I have been active in the site unlike previous months. myLot has been relaxing for me and has helped a lot to keep my mind from wandering off.

@TheHorse I haven't read it yet. It was just published in 1929. I want to see what the critics have to say about it first. But if your Library Butler recommends it, that gets me a little closer to reading it.
