Thanks to @Dena91 for suggesting a Motown countdown. I took it a little further, given that I couldn’t just limit myself to one Stevie Wonder song. So, I’m doing an entire top ten of Stevie Wonder songs!!! What a great legend. And here’s the first song on the list.
#10: Isn’t She Lovely?
I guess I should just put the entire Songs In the Key of Life album on here. 
A classic album, not just for the 70s but for all time. I think I have four songs from that album on this list, so I basically DID put the entire album on here.
Wonder wrote this song about the birth of his daughter, Aisha. You can actually hear his daughter cry at the beginning, then giggle happily as she gets a bath at the end of the recording.
It’s a joyous song, indeed.

Oh, I do....it’s a lot longer than it needs to be. It was one of the most popular cuts from the album, but Stevie wouldn’t let them edit the 3-minute harmonica outro out of the single. It’s kinda like “Hey Jude,” it is a lot longer than it needs to be....which is why it’s only at #10. I love the 3-minute version.
