Since corona hit; lives changed and in such dramatic ways that none of us expected.
People lost jobs; those who were lucky to keep their jobs their salaries got sliced by half. Can barely make ends meet but held in there.
Then came the curfews which we agree were for our own good but still affects the economy of the least in the society.
And the government came me with tax increase on salaries. People complained but nothing much could be done. To get more money they added digital tax for those earning online and sites that make money online.
Then the fuel prices went high. This have affected food stuff prices. Everything is skyrocketing.
A new bill is on the way now and if signed; by July there will be tax on bread and milk powder. Most families in low income and middle class have bread in the morning with tea. You can imagine how that will affect them.
Some mothers especially those blessed with twins, triplets etc. have to rely of national hospitals to get milk powder for their infants. How will this affect them? What if the government cuts down on what they give them?

Very true there
Lets just keep hoping that we will one day wake up to a new world
And we will get to appreciate it better now that we have learnt

@Missmwngi You are right. The food and gas prices are increasing while our income is constant

Here landlords and landladies have been paying tax on rent that they collect. You mean it is being implemented there now?

The relation to all of this is very very high on my end, i used to work at Wal-Mart in Illinois, and taxing on everything has increased by so much. Prices have rised a lot, and the amount of so called "offers" have increased too. Most dont realize those offers arent saving anything. People just have to see the clean way through and try their hardest to get by in life with the trash we are getting put through.

Its too much for everyone
I wish foo prices could go lower but it sounds next to impossible
Businesses are closing hence more and more people without income which translates to alot of problems

@Missmwngi I agree, and the more and more loss of income, the more and more people are losing their opportunities to make something of themselves in the world today.
