Yeah... I watched it when I used to watch the television. The funniest episode I saw was when Del Boy was leaning on the bar flap; he moved his arm to demonstrate something, and the barman opened the flap, to come out from behind the bar... LOL... Del Boy turned and put his elbow back on the bar flap which (obviously), wasn't there, and fell behind the bar... ha ha ha ha ha. He did that sooooo well. Perhaps he should have had lead part in The Fall Guy!!! :-)

Only fools and horses - Only fools and horses starring Del boy and Rodney.
I am so glad that someone has at last replied to this discussion, I think that only fools and horses is brilliant, they can be watched over and over again and they are still funny. Thank you for taking the time to reply to this discussion.:) I also forgot to add that David Jason and Nicolas Lyndhurst are really good actors playing Del boy and Rodney.

I felt that Nicholas Lyndhurst was a great actor and ideal for playing Rodney, however I did not like him outside Only Fools when he played Gary in Goodnight Sweetheart, that was so awful and other series he's be in, he's like a square peg in a round hole. He'll always be remembered mainly for being Rodney, you plonker (is that word allowed on here LOL)

I did not really like him in goodnight sweetheart or anything else that I have seen him in, I think it is because he will always be Rodney to me and I find it hard to imagine him as anyone else. LOL

I'm afraid to say that I stole Del Boy's catchphrase, well one of them at least, I have a bad habit of saying 'cushty' I have a lot of Only Fools and Horses on video, too costly to transfer over to DVD. One of my favourite episodes was with the blow up dolls? Danger UXD, that had me in stitches, I was crying, literally had tears running down my face. That is one classic episode. I also like the scene where Del Boy talks to Trigger and falls through the bar, one of the most memorable moments in the show. I lost interest in the series when Cassandra and Racquel came along, the show didn't have the hilarity or the appeal any more. I just wish that Trigger had bigger parts to play. Roger Lloyd Pack is an excellent versatile actor and his role in OFAH should been extended more. They still show the episodes on UKGold, some of them I will watch again but only the really old episodes.

I have the whole collection on DVD, I was very lucky because my husband used to work for the b.b.c so he got them before release dates. They are probably the most played DVD's in the house, if my husband is not watching them, my son is. So you preferred Granddad instead of uncle Albert, I think Granddad was better but uncle Albert was very funny as well.

hello my friend I love only fools and horses. It has recently become 25 years old, and i fondly remember the first time i saw it. It is arguably the best british sit com of all time and i admit i shed a tear of joy when they finaly won the money although i do feel Jhon Sulivan should have left it there and not written a sequel, but i guess you cant have everything

hello my friend, I agree with you that it is the best British sitcom of all time, but I have to disagree about John Sullivan stopping to write a sequel, I wish he would write more, I love them they are so funny. Thank you for your response in my discussion. :)
