Happy Father's Day in Germany

Hello everyone! I am early awake this morning because the sunshine is waking me up again. It is 13C outside but sunny. It seems that our holiday is a sunny day.
Yes, it is Father's Day in Germany. It happens every year on a Thursday in May which is also an Ascension Day, the day when Jesus ascend to his almighty father.
Father's Day (called Vaterstag) is a public holiday here in Germany. This is a day which is celebrated by men with a lot of drinks and food. It is a tradition where group of men with their bikes pull their Bollerwagen (hand wagon) full of beers and having fun on a picnic park. Not all men are doing this tradition, my husband included. Thankfully. I don't like drunken men.
Is it also Father's Day in your country?

i knew the day (fathers day) was different in many countries. I did not know Germany's was this early!
