Tonight at midnight Virginia is going to be lifting there mask mandates. People that are vaccinated with the covid shots can no go with our mask. This don’t count if your at a school. Business are allowed to keep mask restrictions if they so choice to. Both my husband and I have stated that we will carry our cards for our COVID shots but since our kids can not get there COVID shots due to them being under the age of 12 we are going to continue with mask wearing when in public places.

Still safe to wear mask. With the lifting of the mask what's next? Will it slowly go back to normal like face to face classes, crowded areas and so forth and so on?

I don’t know. For school they are still enforcing masks because most students are not of age to get vaccinated. Depending where in the US some schools have masks and some do not. It depends on the population. Scone schools are physical ans others are not. Some are half. Public as I’d right now only for those that have been not been vaccinated needs there mask als to places that is up to the business to decide.

@ShyBear88 but we cannot compromise situation, still up to the individual to take extra precautions and observe health protocol.

@florelway CDC says it’s fine. States are allowed to choice for there population what is required and not required. CDC doesn’t run the government the government makes laws and rules which the citizens have to fallow. So I’d the government says hey you don’t to wear a mask that means we don’t have to wear a mask.

I saw your president's announcement yesterday in the news channels. It seems all covid restrictions like mask and social distancing is lifted for fully vaccinated people. I see it as a hope to return back to normalcy soon. Let's wait and watch. You are wise about the decision to keep wearing masks for the safety of your children.

Our kids have physics school and it would be weird to ask them to wear there but not us have to. So we will do it together.

@ShyBear88 Let's wait and see. Many feel it's a hasty decision and might backfire But let's hope that it's a right step and we slowly move towards normalcy

I think it is best to have their masks on

Of course the kids will. I’m not sure what it’s like today since I haven’t left the house. But I’m pretty sure most places are sticking to the mask on.

I heard Biden lifted the mask restriction too and said that they have completed 100% vaccination? Is that correct

I don’t m so what Biden said since I don’t really watch the news. For my area the law ways you had to wear a mask today they lifted it but I haven’t left the house yet. So not sure about places. I’m assuming places will have wear mask since they can’t actually stop and ask if you have or haven’t been vaccinated
