Wikipedia asked for a colaboration.

Last week, every time I searched for something at the wikipedia, they asked me for a small colaboration in money.
I thought about it and the minimum was so small and I use the Wikipedia so much that I sent it through Pay pal.
It was not more that what I would have spent on a souvenir when I go for a vacation.
Do you give money for those things?

I have not encountered so far. I always searched on wikipedia but none to that effect. Should there be some consideration in the future for a very small amount and for what cause I may consider.

They were asking for a minimum donation of US $2. I gave it to them.

I have not done it so far. I have not been to Wikipedia since last few months. I have not seen anything like that. Otherwise I too use it on a regular basis.

I have never given money to Wiki but I might consider in the future because I also use many of their sources,

They wanted a minimum of $2. I gave it to them. This is the second time I give them something.
