Notifications - Do They Make You Happy Or Annoyed?

Getting notification is a happy moment as it speaks that people are responding to our discussion.
I am really happy about it!
But what it irritates me is that, while opening the notifications and to go to the discussion, now a days it is taking too much of time!
Do you also experiencing the same?
So what is your reaction - Happy or Annoyed?

I love getting notifications. I always feel good tending to them all. Nice feeling!

I try to reach my discussion, through notifications. It saves my time. I have not been facing any problem in doing so.

Notifications = $ 
so I'm happy when I see them. No I never experienced lagging although I had in the past. Perhaps you can check if your browser is updated and or try restarting ( just a suggestion
) at times it's caused by site cookies.

I hate it when there is no notification when I have commented on few of the discussions...

Sometimes it's internet connection which cause the problem
