Playing in the Dirt

For Mother's Day my boys gave me some petunias. But they were the kind that need to be planted (not in a pot). They, being them, were not aware of that. So I had to go get some potting soil. When I went to Home Depot for the soil, I got a tiny little succulent. Today I thought, "I need to plant my plants." So I moved my little succulent into a bigger pot. And I planted my petunias in all the old empty pots I had around. Then, since I had some soil left, I planted some cucumber seeds, some zinnia seeds, and the seeds from something called a Pink Polka Dot plant. The seeds are all old though, so they may not even sprout. We'll find out in 7 to 14 days. Then, I took a small sprout of aloe from one of my outdoor aloe plants and potted in in a cute little planter too. Then I planted the sprouted eye of a sweet potato that I had in my kitchen window. I hope it survives. Last time I planted a potato sprout something dug it up and ate it. I gave everyone a light shower, and they're sitting outside in the shade getting some good UVs. I just hope I can keep things alive for a while. I tend to kill green things. Not on purpose, I just can't ever seem to keep 'em going no matter how hard I try.

Good luck! This is one of the thing that I would fail.
