I have a few things to talk about today. First my weekend went really well, we had a nice party at my house with relatives and friends. About half ar vacc and half not, and only one person wore a msk, and then took it off in about an hour. Felt more normal than it has been. Then Sunday I spent the day preparing a meal plan for the week, and then went shopping, spending about $50 more than usual on some really good sales, mostly meat.
I am very stocked up on meat, so I am going to try to spend no more than $75 the next two weeks, concentrating on fruits and most vegetables. I will also get any sales items that are worth the price. I am going to start trying new veggies,and new ways to cook them.
I made some really delicious sauted garlic and mushrooms last night.
On to other things. I decided yesterday to let the birds roam free through out the house. They did fly around a lot last night, but today they are more subdued, staying in the cage even though it is open.
One more item. I started a memory journal about a week ago. My memories are fading fast. I wish I knew why. So I am going to be writing every day in this journal, just writing about random memories, good or bad. I have three entries in it now.
As for today and plans etc, I am boiling some eggs for the week, for anyone to snack on when they need a protein to go with their carbs. I am restricting myself to four a week, as I m not sure if too much will make my cholesterol go up. I have a long to do list for today, and most of the week. I a being pretty leisurely about it, but I think I will get everything done. The hardest part, my morning workout, is already done. I added five more minutes, so now I am doing fifty minutes. The weather has been crap so I haven't been able to do any yard work.
Spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. I will just have some of the meatballs, skip the noodles and garlic bread, and have a large salad. And a fiber tablet.
