Another Sunny Day (halleluiah)

United States
May 18, 2021 9:35am CST
Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's absolutely beautiful here today with plenty of sunshine. It's going to be warm and I already have the a/c on. Last night it was just too warm not to turn it on. Is summer weather arriving early or is this just a tease? Today is laundry day. I already have stuff in the wash and my daughter said she'd put it in the dryer. Yay...that saves me a trip up the stairs. Hopefully I can put away the warmer clothes once and for all. The temperature has been so up and down that I never know what to wear. At least this week it looks like I can wear short sleeves. Now if the weather stays on the warmer side I can probably switch out my heavy comforter and put the lighter weight one on my bed. I just started reading a new book by Danielle Steel. Gee I haven't read one of her books in ages so I thought I'd give this one a try. It's called Neighbors and so far the first few chapters are enjoyable. I'll probably be reading more as I love to sit outside with a good book. Now I'm going to finish my coffee and have breakfast. I have so many notifications to catch up on but I'm going to do my best today. That's my day so far How's things in your little corner of the myLot world?

It's getting pretty darn warm here these days, it should get into the mid 80s today which I love. I'm constantly walking the fence tween my neighbor and me, Roscoe is a diggin lil fool and I have to try to make the spots he's been digging uncomfortable for him to want to dig. It's keeping me purdy dern busy

Yes, that he is and I'm right behind him trying to patch the holes with stuff I have laying around but he's a smart lil devil and my fixes don't always work. You're right, I won't be getting bored anytime soon ........ but I might go bald.

We are going to have another beautiful week. Hubs bought me three books and one is a DS book. Have the same book, but read The Girl with the Blue Star first. Fabulous read. We sleep with the windows open. Nice and cool at night so far.

I haven't read Danielle Steel in ages so I thought I'd give it a try and I'm not disappointed. You read faster than I do so I'm sure you'll finish it before me It was too hot here last night to have the windows open. It was strange since up until now the nights have been chilly.

@Marilynda1225 I looked up that book The Girl With the blue Star. The only book I could find was the Woman With the Blue Star. Is that the one you read?

Here's a beautiful day too (evening now). I haven't read Danielle for years, the last one I read was Gone (don't recall the original title) about a son who went missing. Thank you for reminding me about her books, will enjoy reading them in the mornings with my coffee.

I've gone on to read so many other authors that I totally forgot about Danielle Steel. It's good to go back and read an old author. So far I'm enjoying this book. What types of books do you like to read?

@Marilynda1225 Hi Marilyn! I have different phases that can last a year or two. Sometimes I enjoy romance, sometimes historical or philosophy.

I haven't read one of her books in a long time either. Enjoy. I'm glad the days are getting warmer and you can change out your bedding and your clothes. We're getting warmer weather too. 80s this week. Spring lasted one week. Summer has arrived. Now to let the calendar know.

It's going to be in the high 80s and maybe even hit 90 by the weekend. You're probably missing your snow The perfect weather for me is when I can go outside and not have to bundle up or worry about slipping and sliding on slick pavement.

@Marilynda1225 I agree, that is a good thing. I will when we hit 80 tomorrow. The good thing is we're getting rain all week. We're in desperate need here.

I haven't read a DS book in years. I used to read alot of them, but found that I tired of her storylines. I hope that your book is a nice change of pace. It cools down at night here so that sleeping with the windows open is enough to cool us down, along with using a fan. I feel like the a/c season is creeping up in the next few weeks.

The a/c season hit here already unless its just a fluke and it will get cool again. But I think summer is arriving early. I haven't read Danielle Steel in ages either but thought I'd give it a try and yes, it's a nice change of pace.

It will only be about 65 here again today, with some strong breezes, like yesterday. I worked in the yard for about two hours and it was pretty pleasant. Our temps at night have typically in the low to mid 40s this time of year, but three days ago, it was 69 degrees at bed time, very still and too warm.

Up until the past night or two it's been chilly overnight. Last night was a shocker that I needed the a/c
