Happy 18th of May

Today is a happier day than yesterday.
I won't go into the reason why yesterday was so bad, but I think I have an answer to a question that was on my mind.
Tuesday's are my errand day. Usually that means going to two grocery stores and dollar tree. Today I wanted to also visit goodwill. Well, it was too early for the one near dollar tree (the one I prefer) and so we came back towards home. I wanted to swing by Ollie's since we were going to be close-ish to it.
Guess what Ollie's doesn't have? YARN!
My ollie's, a bigger ollie's than the last one I visited, doesn't have yarn!
But I did get some bluetooth headphones for $10.00. I swung by the goodwill nearest me and found a desk fan for $1.00. I was going to get a similar desk fan at Ollie's for $24.00. I'm so glad I didn't!
A $1.00 desk fan beats a $24.00 one any day.
Oh and I also found a photo album for $2.00 that I like.
Walked longer and plan to walk this same route every day (that it isn't raining).
Today's Plans
I'm still not writing.. I should be, sure, but I just am not feeling it at the moment.
Crocheting the cat coasters today
Crocheting towel rings today (I got buttons and a sewing kit at the DT)
What's your Tuesday like? (or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, whatever day you see this)

The photo reminds me of our park, it has a river that runs through it. Glad you got your answer.
My neighbor shops at Ollie's and has told me many times I should go. One day I will get there.
Catching up today and enjoying the birds of course.

Have you ever been to a Roses? I'm not sure if they stretch into TN. Ollie's reminds me of Roses but without the clothes. Ollie's has some clothes, just not a lot.
I may take a picture of the path I walk tomorrow (or later today if I decide to walk back there again). It's a really serene place.

@CarolDM There's one near my friend's house, but they closed the one closer to me down.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I did years ago, had forgot about that store. We don't have them here that I know of.

I kept seeing people in the yarn groups I'm in post about getting yarn at Ollie's. Mine doesn't even carry any! Maybe because they are so close to craft stores.

I'm glad you had a better day. Did you report Ollie's to the MSN (Major Store Network) for not having yarn? Imagine! Our little housekeeper isn't coming until Friday; so I'm a little bummed out. I had planned on starting to get organized in the bedroom. Oh well.

Oh no! Sorry she had to postpone. Maybe you could do some mental checklisting and that way you'll be prepared and rearing to go once she does arrive?
I was appalled! A large store and yet no yarn!

@ScribbledAdNauseum I post lists on Facebook Messenger to her; and she looks them up on her phone when she gets here. That way we both know what I want her to do/help with.

Well that is good to get an answer to a question on your mind, and that today is better! And those sound like great deals - especially the fan!
That's great about the walk, and that you plan to do that every day as long as it is not raining.
Today's pretty much a lazy day here - although later I'll be helping my mom mow her lawn so that will be my workout for the day lol

Mowing the lawn is definitely a work out for sure.
Yeah, I was happy to find the fan. I always like to have two fans just in case one breaks. This one is just a desk fan, but it'll serve it's purpose. I need a fan, especially in the summer!

@ScribbledAdNauseum Oh yes, that it is! And mom would do it all herself if she had to even after working an 8 hour shift! So I will definitely help with that.
I can understand that, and can't beat that deal. That's good to have a back up too. Definitely a needed thing for the summer.

Thank You! I am too.
Yesterday I just knew something wasn't right and I also knew I had to wait it out. Today I have my answer (I was ghosted by a guy I was talking to) and while it hurts, I can now move on with my life.

@Nevena83 Yes. i didn't even talk to my friends yesterday. I only said a few words to them. Today I messaged them to let them know what happened and asked them to not mention it at all. They've respected my wishes and we've changed the subject.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I assumed it was someone close to you, as soon as you were so upset.

Desk Fan for $1 !!
Amazing!!
I do not think we would have that even here.
Here a new ceiling fan costs approx 18 to 19 USD but have not tried to know the cost of a table fan since long.
It was just a fine Tuesday although Wednesday beckons with loads of official work and some meetings.

I bought the fan from a thrift store (Goodwill) so it is a used item.

I have been tempted to get closer to the creek but I think I may find another place to do this. I'm afraid the sand will make it impossible to get back onto the hill.
