Have you noticed how much remote/online jobs changed lately?

I worked a lot on Upwork, Freelancer and similar sites until a year ago. Now, I went looking for a gig and all job posts are overcomplicated, underpaid or if the job is OK, there are 30 to 50 people applied already.
How are your experiences with the latest online work situation?

I haven't used those types of sites in quite some time. I quit once they started to seem ultra complicated.

@Loti24 I used to use textbroker too, but they changed things up. I'd rather use sites like this to be honest.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yeah, right. I'd really like to discover more sites like this one. I just started a few weeks ago.

Yes that can happen for sure as many of the people had already shifted to online platforms. But don't worry you will get what you want. Take care.

I lost the other website which I had been for the last few years and i couldn't go back anymore. Sadly, I never got the chance to write and even do transcriptions.

I looked into some of those websites. When I did; I did not think I could handle it.

I haven't tried to do any freelance work. I'm totally blind and make a lot of mistakes. Since I don't have anyone I can rely on to get what spell check doesn't catch, I would not be able to provide good quality work. So I simply post here where the quality doesn't matter as long as it's understood.
However, I can't say I'm surprised. Over the past year, work-from-home jobs have become more in-demand. With people losing their jobs right and left, options are limited and people still need to put food on the table.
I've also noticed, now that businesses are hiring, people have gotten comfortable making their living room their office so don't want to join the workforce outside the home.
