I know that turtles enter a period of torpor due to variations in temperature. It is possible that yours is presenting this phenomenon, in which its normal functions decrease, including food intake.

What kind of turtle is it? Has it gone a week or more without eating in the past? When an animal slows down or refuses food or water, it usually means they are sick.

Hello Kayla, I'm not sure of its race but he is a wild turtle, he was normally eating and drinking water in the past

Hello and welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site! The first thing you should do is to read the Guideline Rules so that you know what is allowed or not on this site. Read around, Like and Comment as much as you can to make yourself known to the community.

I'd spend the money and ask a vet!
This is where you will find out what kinds of behavior are accepted and unaccepted on myLot. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule!

Rather than that why not just get him tested by a Veterinarian?
And also welcome to myLot.

Well nobody can be actually sure of what he is going through except for a veterinarian.
