Recently I got some nutmeg fruits from a mother tree and these are the seeds. I will try to germinate these seeds. The red arils smells so good. Anyone familiar with these as spice?

Interesting! We use nutmeg for a lot of my favorite foods like sweet potatoes pie! Hope you can germinate many!

We use nutmeg (the dried seed) grated in custards and over mashed potato and mace (the dried and ground aril) less often, usually in a cake mix along with cinnamon, cloves and other sweet spices.

@kaguvkov It's difficult to say what the taste is like. It's very subtle but enhances the flavour of sweet things, especially milky puddings like custard, with just a few grates of nutmeg. Mace has a similar flavour to nutmeg but is less pronounced.
