my hubby's laptop won't turn on

This afternoon, I accidentally put the laptop into the bag when it was turned on and the USB position was still attached to the bottom port. at night he was shocked when he was starting to work his laptop would not turn on or respond. he ask "why my laptop can be in the bag like this?" I just put on a gloomy face without saying anything .. he grumbled, there was a meeting that night and there was quite an important job.
