My daughters teacher send me a picture of my girl sitting in front of her class and reading a book called “time to sleep” it was one of her favorite books when she was smaller. Her teacher is proud of her and loved book choice. With her being dyslexic I didn’t think she would be confident enough to read in front of other kids in her class but the girl keeps surprising us with how confident she is even when she messes up.
Love that trait of hers and I hope she keeps it forever.

I hope she does, too. Children with learning disabilities often struggle with being confident. Happy to see this hasn't hindered her emotionally.

She want always so certain of herself but we have know since she was 7 and have told her it’s very normal. Mommy also have a learning disability and it’s not going to be easy but everyone learns different you just need more help then others. That’s okay you have to tell people what you need. Pretty much her teachers are about self awareness.

She isn’t the smartest she is just comfortable with the fact she is dyslexic and in it’s self is hard and understands it’s harder for her to understand stand words, spelling and reading.

Aww thanks! I try to make her feel it’s not a bad thing being different and being different is awesome.
