And it's completely safe.
We consulted her oncologist and she said that there is no contraindications to the COVID-19 vaccine for her case.
She was recently diagnosed with fourth stage lung cancer adenocarcinoma (meaning, it has spread), and is still fighting! With her cancer, she is immunocompromised and getting an immunity boost against COVI9-19 is vital for her situation.
Yesterday, she got vaccinated with Sinovac (CoronaVac). According to DOH, Sinovac was reported to have an efficacy of 65-91% (based on Brazil, Indonesia, and Turkey Trials). But any brand would provide good enough protection.
I strongly recommend everyone to also get vaccinated when you get the opportunity! Let's end this pandemic together.

Good to know that she has received hers. I am just hoping that she can get through her cancer which is more concerning for me. My mom also got the same situation as your mom did. She was able to survive for a couple of decades before finally succumbing to her problem.

Hi There. Welcome to mylot.
Yes. My mother got vaccinated with Sinovac and it is good. She had some little vomiting feeling and headaches but after a few days it goes away

I'm glad your mother got vaccinated, it's a wise decision she made. Tell your mother to stay away from smoke, even second hand smoke. The second vaccine received, both of us had diarrhea afterwards.
