Day 285 Promise 754 Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (KJV) Singing plays a huge role in people’s lives. Music is the pulse of life. You can’t go anywhere without hearing music. Singing plays a large role in heaven too. Can you imagine what heaven would sound like? John gave us a word picture of the four beasts and twenty-four elders falling before the Lamb, singing a new song of His worthiness to open the seals of the book. His worthiness is the redeeming power of His blood, shed on Calvary’s cross. With His blood, we are kings and priests to God and will reign on earth. As Christians, you look forward to the day when Jesus returns and sets up His kingdom on earth. Then true peace will reign. Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (KJV) When He returns, you will hear the sound of singing from a special group of people redeemed during the Tribulation. Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. Revelation 15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. 2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them who had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. You have a great reason to sing because Jesus redeemed you with His blood. He tore the veil in the temple and brought you near to Him. His life flows through you. Psalms are full of praise to God. Many have been put to music. Praising God brings joy to the heart and soul. You want to sing praise to Him for all He did for you. It’s natural now, and it will be natural when Jesus sets up His kingdom for those who overcame during the Tribulation. Psalm 59:16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble. 17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defense, and the God of my mercy. Psalm 89:1 (Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite.) I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 104:33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. (KJV) Psalm 150:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high-sounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. Are you silent before God? Or do you lift your voice in praise for all He did for you? Let’s pray: Father, let my voice be heard as I give praise to You for all You did for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 23 May 2021 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

I truly believe that we are living in end times. What was written on the Book of Revelations is slowly unfolding nowadays! Keep the faith and fire burning in your heart brothers and sisters in Christ! I bet you don't wanna be left behind when the raptures happen.

It appears from some of these readings that Heaven is not that different from here. We sing and dance there. Animals exist there. Musical instruments are there to be played. I like to speculate on what life might be like there. Perhaps we eat and drink there too.

I would guess we do as we're all invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. The difference between here and there is the lack of sin in heaven.

@innertalks The devil was kicked out of heaven because of his sin against God. Sin isn't allowed in heaven. What good would heaven be if it was just another earth?

@just4him And yet, the Devil once sinned within Heaven's borders, so citizen's of heaven are not just puppets of God's there either, but they must still have some freedom of choice of their own there too.
