Beauty lies in the beholders eyes.
Beauty has a practical value. We humans are emotional but everything is related to survival.
A flower is beautiful because it has to attract the insects etc, so that the pollens are transferred to other flower and they can reproduce.
Similarly beauty is seen in those whom we consider as a potential to reproduce. This is all done by our genes at our sub conscious level.
Our genes are selfish and they guide us to view beauty with respect to survival.

I think beauty is in the eyeys of the beholder too. If someone is beautiful too look at but has a terrible personality then to me they are not beautiful at all and if someone is not so nice to look at but has a wonderful sweet and funny personality then I consider them to be beautiful.

Beauty is what someone sees in you... wether it be the kindness in your soul, the care you show, or even your outer appearances. I believe that each person has their own definition of beauty... beauty is what that individual is looking for in another being. If your looking for just appearances, that is the beauty you see. If your looking deep into someones heart, that is the beauty you see. There is no right definition for beauty. We all decide what beauty is to us.
