Which of the 7 deadly sins is most destructive to society? How so?

We are currently living in a time where self-indulgence and instant gratification is not only accepted but promoted. One example I see is fast foods = gluttony and slothful = the US = the most obese nation in the world. What do you see?

greed i think would be the most distructive one. everyone wants every thing and more of it. for example right now it would have to be oil, were in need of it cuz were the largest consumers of it and were going to war over it.
