Pandemic

May 26, 2021 11:39pm CST
Hi. How are you today? Hope you all are doing fine. Here in our country, there are still restrictions. We are still not free to roam around. It's just sad that my 2 kids cant even enjoy playing outdoors. How about you? Are your lives back to normal?

Welcome to mylot. Please go through the FAQs and guidelines, for better understanding of the site. You have not mentioned about your country? Where are you from? I am from New Delhi and it is still under lock down and we cannot go out except for essential services. Yes, you are right that kids have a horrifying time inside the four walls of the house and they just cannot play in park or in open spaces freely. But saving life is more important than anything else.

Hi. Sorry about not mentioning my country. Im from the Philippines and though they lessen the restrictions, I just cant sacrifice my kids health. I agree with you that saving life is more important than anything else. Truely health is wealth.

@Ielky16 You will have to adjust with the restriction imposed for safety of your family and till the restrictions are completely restricted, we cannot do much about it.

I'm on self quarantine. As for lockdown, I'm thankful we live in rural area where everyone has their own yard. So we can roam around in our area freely.

Wow! How I wish I live in a place like that too. Living in the city is so frustrating. My kids cant play outside and spend most of their time watching. *Sigh*

So true. After a year of lockdowns, it's still hard to adapt to the new normal.

I thought 'outdoors' was okay, as long as it wasn't too crowded! (Of course, I live out in America's Midwest; where we've got to TRY HARD to find a crowd ... wide open spaces ...)
