I am in my 2nd semester taking on-line classes. This will also be the last on-line classes that I will take. I realize that taking on-line classes requires you to do alot more writing and probably alot more studying! Another thing was that you have to make time to study - I have 2 children, and work full time, the only time I have to hit the books, is at night when they go to sleep, by then, I am extremely exhausted!!! I need the extra push and motivation from other students, so, I have registered for classes on campus next semester.

i love the online courses and the college i am attending..we have live lectures everyweek via webcam and the instructor is very thorough.and i can sit in my pajamas if i want.im sure its a lot harder when you have a full plate as you do but if this is something you truly want so you can better yourself then i say buckle down and do what you have to to pass..education is very important(and very expensive)so dont waste it

I'd love to take online classes for then I wouldn't have to get up extremely early just to catch a school bus. I won't work the overbearing work for I am up for it. :]

Online classes can really be a blessing, as for the above post, but it takes ALOT of discipline to get down and DO IT! I've tried it before and I just couldn't. I need to have the requirement of a schedule to be responsible for, at least for that. One thing that I found out a few years ago, is that I'm more busy when I'm unemployed than when I AM employed! That's because it's too easy to say "I have time." And then I'll wind up doing all the things that I need (no matter how big or small) for myself as well as for others instead of prioritizing them. Best wishes in your pursuit! Aloha!!

Hi! I am a work at home mom and I am also taking online courses. I am working on getting my A.S. in business management. I love it, because it is so convient, I don't have to worry about daycare, I can just relax and take my classes and tests right from my computer. Plus I am saving 2K doing it this way!
